I create poetry through colors, textures, and shapes, drawing inspiration from both internal reflections and external surroundings. Each individual experiences the world uniquely, shaping our perceptions and emotions. My compositions strive for harmony, blending textured paint, lines, shapes, and colors to convey specific moments and places. Like poetry dedicated to a particular time and space, my paintings express beauty or drama through contrasts and lines. With a childlike sense of wonder, I aim to capture the essence of the world on canvas, allowing my artworks to take on lives of their own. Not bound by realism or contemporary trends, I paint honestly from deep within, letting the art speak for itself. If my work resonates with you, then I've achieved my goal.

My name is Ksenia Lyakhova.
Born September 7th 1994, Moscow, Russia. For 10 years I’ve been passionate about a small but gorgeous country filled with rich culture and history: The Netherlands. And since last year I can proudly say that it has become my permanent place of residence, my new home. For me, this has been a fresh start, a blank canvas.
I am an artist and a member of the International Creative Union of Artists of Russia, my paintings are in private collections around the world. I have had more than 20 personal and group exhibitions, a wealth of experience in teaching drawing with different age groups. With great enthusiasm, I participate in various creative projects and conduct art performances & master classes.
My whole life is closely connected by creativity: 11 years of art school, college for fashion design, and also an institute degree in clothing design. The institute had the most powerful teachers of painting and drawing, who “infected” me with the artistic atmosphere: creative chaos in the studio, plein-air and long debates about different tastes in art. All this turned my head and at one fine moment I realized that drawing brings me much more pleasure than sewing. The world of painting is an incredible phenomenon in which my subconscious, knowledge and skills are intertwined. Finishing a art-work always feels like a huge leap forward: “today I am better than yesterday and what will the future bring me?” When starting on a new canvas, I never know for sure what I’ll achieve. This makes it incredibly intriguing.
